The new Monee facility acquired by Mi-Jack Products earlier this year has officially shipped its first unit: a 110-ton Travelift rubber-tired gantry crane.
Since becoming fully operational in June, the 200,000-square-foot Monee facility has begun assembly and shipping operations for Translift and Travelift RTG cranes, while the Hazel Crest, Illinois location continues to focus on welding, fabrication, and painting.
The Monee facility was established to expand Mi-Jack’s manufacturing capacity and support growing demand in domestic and international markets. Pat Lynch, the production manager of the facility, shared his thoughts on this milestone: “The Monee facility provides us with the additional space that we need to meet our customer demands. Our customers are requesting bigger cranes every year and this new facility with four 40-ton overhead cranes and several jib cranes and lifting stations helps us be more efficient in the manufacturing process. We are very excited as we look to grow the Mi-Jack business for many years to come.”
